MARTHA'S FALL

Here is a parable that will make you think
of a person you knew who gave you irk
her name was Martha she was from a block,
had no real friends; she could need a shrink.

Martha, Martha, how would you grow old?
no longer in teens but did move like toed
"Blah, blah, blah", non-stop she babbled words
Attention-deficit? What do you all say treuds?

Month of June she celebrated two seasons
drinking sorbet while snuggling cheese alone
Oh! What a pity, Martha, Why were you forlorn?
Stop your tantrums, find your comfort zone.

She was sick at heart because of delusion
believed on herself as the best among the rest
never look back to anyone of her state
trusted all were inferior while she's the greatest

One rainy night she was alone in room
counting raindrops while drinking sorgnum
when the night was high thought of Van Gogh
Sat on the window, then she fell off, Oh!

Pitiable Martha, she didn't grow old
delusion of grandeur caused her fold
pride and vanity made her fool
conceited she was ended all with a fall.
